Daily Spa Ritual:
After cleansing with the appropriate Face Off Cleanser for your skin type, shake or stir contents of your masque. Gently massage onto face and neck, in a circular motion, avoiding the eye area. Allow the masque to remain on your skin for at least five minutes, ideally 20 minutes. Once masque has dried, rinse well and tone with appropriate BFF Toner. Apply the BBW Facial Serum, Lotion or Gel for your skin type.
For use as a weekly spa masque, begin by cleansing your face. Secure your hair off your face. Steam your pores open* by bringing two to three inches of water to a boil in a large pot. Open and add the contents of one bag (each) of chamomile and peppermint tea to the water as soon as it begins to boil. Lower the flame so that the water simmers (bubbles slightly). Cover the pot so that the beneficial herbal vapors don’t escape. After five minutes, remove the pot from the stove, with the lid on, and place it on a heat resistant surface. Let the water cool down for 3-5 minutes.
Once the water has cooled slightly, lean over the pot (not too close!) and drape a large clean towel over your head so that the steam can liquefying the excess oil in your skin and open*your pores. Keep your eyes closed and breathe deeply and allow the steam to penetrate for at least three minutes.
Gently pat your face dry and then apply a thick layer to your face, in circular motions, avoiding the eye area. For precise masque application, use a Pore Me Masque Application Brush. Allow it to dry for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse well. Follow with appropriate BFF Toner and BBW serum, lotion or gel.
*Contrary to popular belief, pores don’t really open and close. They do, however, expand with heat and contract in colder temperatures. This is how they allow the skin to breathe and regulate the temperature of the body.
